Trains and Ice Cream
It was another hot day in Calgary so after the splash park in the morning, we went with Daddy to Edworthy park.
We got to see the train twice.
Chocolate ice cream cooled us off. Tomorrow we plan to visit a Ranch where a bunch of Daddy's friends are having a university reunion with all their kids. We are supposed to camp, but it is close enough for us to go for the day and save the pain of camping in a tent.

Ski Goggles and Mulcair BBQ circut
We have a box in the basement full of old ski goggles and helmets. The kids love to use the items for dress up.
We went to an NDP BBQ at a co-housing place. There was a neat little playground there for the kids to play.
Thomas Mulcair was in town visiting the Stampede.
Bobs sat up close with me and listened. He really enjoyed the clapping parts. I have to admit he did get bored when Mulcair spoke.
There were probably about 300 people there.
Bobs already thinks Mr. Mulcair is the Prime Minister.

Sprinkler and Baby Declan
We re-created the splash park in our backyard.
Mark and Cassandra had their baby boy Declan on June 26th. It was wonderful to hold him.

Splashpark
By 12 noon today, we had already attended a Stampede breakfast, gone for a bike ride, and hit the spray parks.
Mads and Bobs absolutely love the spray parks. Bobs has been asking about going to one for nearly a year. Too bad our summers are so short.
Obviously we aren't taking the outdoor weather for granted.
Bobs expects ice cream after every event though, when it's hot out.
It's the Calgary Stampede!
It was time to get our cowboy hats and shirts on for the pancake breakfasts.
We went to the Signal Hill breakfast and had pancakes and sausage. There was also a petting zoo, pony rides, firefighters, ambulance and the Navy.
