First Day of Preschool Year 2 & School BBQ

Grade One!

Bobs was a pro at going to grade 1 today. His friend on the street will be in the same class.

Mads was jealous of all the attention at school, and was behaving badly. He asked if I could also take a photo of him, and so I did.

On the drive home, Mads who has me all to himself now, said " Mommy, if I lose my parents and I need something, I will use my own money because I don't know how to make a credit card"

Labour Day Weekend

It was the last long weekend of summer. We had Sarah's parents at the cabin for a night which was wonderful because I have been to their cabin more than I can count.

We had two beach days, but they weren't super warm.

Bobs did a last jump into the water with a raft to catch him. JJ tried too but backed out. KC did a big belly flop one.

We moved new Ikea furniture in with the help of Kris. And the old wheat couch out.

Some of the wheat cushions were useful for other things.

We went to Aspen Provincial Park for a picnic.

Seffy met a girlfriend on the beach.

On our last night, we had our annual pizza off. Mine was the best of course.

Another Griffith Woods Adventure

Last Hurrah at the Spray Park

Bobs likes to play hide and seek with the neighbourhood kids, until they get too bossy.

Today was very warm, so we went to the spray park for what I think will be the last time before school starts.

A few kids from Bob's school were there too.

Science Centre Shop Class

We were at the science centre again with Cael.

They were really interested in removing parts from a VCR.

Usually we catch a science presentation before lunch. Bobs got to volunteer in it.
