The Wiggles Concert
We went to the Wiggles concert yesterday at 2:30 after picking up daddy from work. We were a bit unsure as to how things would go. When we got to the Saddledome, Bobs asked where Murray ( the red Wiggle) was? We made sure to bring his guitar so he could play along with them if he felt like it.
We had floor seats, but it was still far enough back that Bobs couldn't see that well. Mads started crying as soon as they came on the stage. He didn't particularly appreciate Captain Featherswords voice.
Daddy walked around with Mads and I held Bobs up to see. He refused to stand so I had to make a seat with my arms and hold him up. He was quite timid. When Daddy came back, I took Mads up to some other seats - the cheap seat area - and he stood on my lap and shouted at the stage and started having a great time. It was quieter further back. Later Bobs and Daddy joined us in our new found seats and we could sit back and relax more.
Towards the very end, Bobs started dancing a bit. When Jeff and Captain Feathersword came up real close to us, Bobs didn't seem to be phased. But in the last two songs, he asked Daddy is he could go back down on the floor near the stage. He wanted to get as close as possible. He did some of the gestures to "Hot Potato" and at the end when they left the stage he said "Bye bye Wiggles".
All in all, it was a fun family adventure and I am glad even Mads enjoyed it.
