The Nap Time Beach Trip

In the afternoon after grabbing lunch to go from Whole Foods, we tried to get the boys to nap in the hotel room. They both refused so we decided to head to the beach and playground. They fell asleep in the car and it was raining when we got to the beach so we moved them into the stroller and they continued to nap.

We took turns walking up the beach ( as the stroller doesn't go on the sand very well ).

I really enjoyed the salty sea air and the crushed crab shells in the sand.

Who doesn't love the Ocean?

The boys slept the entire time we were at the beach. They may as well have since the rain didn't let up. The beach was deserted.

I think it was called Golden Park Beach and it is in Ballard. There is a heavy Scandinavian presence here. We even stopped at a Danish Bakery called Larsen's Bakery. I bought a Danish danish (vienerbrod), and a birgesbrod.

Bobs woke up as soon as we got back into the hotel's parkade. We had supper at the Chowder house again since it is convenient and good. Then we went swimming in the pool and are now getting ready for bed.
