Happy Mothers Day. This afternoon as the sun was out, we went for a walk along the east side of Lake Union by our hotel. They have some cute cafes and shops along one street.
We took a lower street along the shore on our way back from a playground and found the quaintest houses. Floating houses.
Not only was the sun a nice surprise, so was the neighbourhood.
Some of the private moor entry ways had signs saying no tourists, no photography and no trespassing. I can see why they had the signs up as it was mighty tempting to go in and take some shots.
After the kids had played at three playgrounds, we ordered some sushi and brought it back to the hotel.
Tomorrow is our last full day in Seattle. We plan to get to another beach as it is expected to be a sunny day.
