Corn Maze!!!
We made it out to the Calgary Corn Maze, 8 km south east of the city. It was nearly 30 degrees out and I was way over dressed!
I thought since we were going to a farm, we would all need jeans on. There was no shade to be found and it was boiling by the time we left.
The bouncy pillows were the best part. I loved how the adults could go on there too.
There were two tractor rides. One that the parents could go on and it went through a corn maze. Another was just for little kids.
There is a kids corn maze, and an adult one. We tried the kids one for a bit but were too afraid of the huge adult maze. A neighbour told me you can get lost in there for days!
We've had a lot of fun this summer with Cael and his parents. It was their suggestion to get out this weekend again. We are all new to Corn Maze and are really glad we did it. There was a pumpkin patch as well, but we didn't get the time to see it. The kids got tired right after lunch.
None of the kids even really liked the petting zoo. Bobs ran up to a goat and pet it gently, and then ran away. Mads wanted nothing to do with the animals up close but he did enjoy seeing the kittens.
There is a water duck race device that Bobs enjoyed a lot.
Bobs and a lot of other people hung around a fenced area for a long time to await pig races. They lasted about 1 minute.
Daddy and Mads look like they are already lost before even entering the corn maze.
