Elliott's Birthday

It was Elliott's first birthday party this afternoon at their new house in Rocky Ridge. Sadly, we were not allowed to bring any gifts.

We had a car themed cake, and snacks.

Bobs and JJ adore Elliott and just had to be around him when it was time to blow out the candles. They made sure to help.

Mads like to eat hummus, and was oblivious to the fact that there was cake.

As usual, there were a lot of little boys around and few girls.

Elliott refused to eat his piece, and then started to cry.

After cake, we went outside in the huge backyard on a beautiful +12 day.

Elliott gets his blue eyes from his uncle James.

I noticed they had a nice view from their upstairs bathroom, so here it is.

This is a zoom in mountain view from the backyard. It backs onto a highway.

The property is nearly an acre in size and some of it is on a slant, so you can go sledding.

After the birthday party, we went to JJ and KC's house and ordered Swiss Chalet. Then the boys had fights over trains, and later watched a bit of cartoons while drinking their milk.

Mads was ready for bed, but Bobs was the one who fell asleep on the way home.
