Pancakes, Conversation and Ballpit

Daddy has been sick enough that he ended up with pneumonia and is in the hospital for a little while so he can get better. Meanwhile, I am keeping the kids busy. We made chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast two days in a row.

Bobs: my favourite juice is orange juice. Mads, yours is apple juice. Daddy's favourite is hot chocolate juice, and mommy's is.... tea cup juice!

Bobs likes to make patterns and buildings out of his shapes. And then pose in a funny way to show them off.

Mads enjoys drinking out of a cup now, but he insists he gets to carry it around the house with liquid in it. We don't let him, but he makes a big deal out of us saying no to that.

Mads and Bobs had their friends JJ, KC and Elliott over for dinner and playtime yesterday. The smaller boys played in the basement.

And the preschoolers went upstairs on their own and didn't seem to make much noise, so I went to check on them. They had dismantled everything in Bob's room and stuffed it in his closet.

They were getting along well and were quite proud of themselves, so I asked them nicely to also have fun putting everything back.

The little boys played in their ball pit, although half of the balls were missing under couches and elsewhere all over the basement. There are 250 of them, thanks to a blog reader and friend.

Daddy should be getting better slowly and we miss him at home. Especially since it is family day. We plan to all visit today.

  1. These are some of the best pictures of the boys ever, especially Mads.
