Seattle Aquarium and Happy Mother's Day

Mads enjoys watching cartoons at the hotel in the evenings.

On Mother's Day, we went to the Waterfront after finding parking.

I was able to ask a bunch of questions that I had from pervious days of tide pooling. Starfish eat mussels and clams and oysters. Sea cucumber's suck up sand and expel it and certain types of snails with big shells make a really neat shaped sand "sculptures" that end up looking like plastic wheel wells, when in fact, if you touch one and look closely, it's just sand.

Mads absolutely loves fish and was really happy at the Aquarium. Bobs didn't really love it but he tolerated it.

Of course Mads's favourite fish is the clownfish from Finding Nemo.

We didn't go up the Space Needle, but we did go to the Children's Museum at the bottom. We also had  a nice Mother's Day lunch at Duke's Chowderhouse by the hotel we stayed at last time.

Happy Mother's Day to our mothers!!!
