North Glenmore Park post Flood

As you know by now, our city and southern part of the province has been flooded.

We can't go to most places near the river as they are still evacuated, but we have a reservoir with a damn that controls some of the city's water supply. It is pretty much at full capacity now.

Obviously those shrubs were not under water three days ago.

We live outside of the flood plain, but a neighbouring community which sits on the Elbow River had flooding. Much of downtown is closed and Daddy will have to work from home for the first half of this week.

It was really nice to see the sun and to get outside, but we have to deal with a lot of mosquitos now.

The boys ran into a bunch of kids dressed as superheroes for a birthday party in the park. It was awesome for them to chase around life sized Batman and Superman.
