Lac Leamy in Gatineau. We made it to Ottawa. Barely. On the drive to the airport, there was not one, but two accidents on Deerfoot. I was supposed to meet Daddy at the airport at 4:00pm but instead, I got there at 4:55, exactly one hour before our flight took off. We ran through security and over to the plane. The only good thing was that the kids didn't have to sit around and wait.
Grandma and Grandpa had a birthday party for everyone on the first day.
Bobs got the last Batman Lego box and now he has the complete set.
Mads got some noisy big vehicles.
Bobs got busy right away assembling his lego.
The next day we went on a boat tour of the Ottawa River.
The weather was all over the place.
After lunch, we went to a wading pool that grandma had researched. It had 6 lifeguards and all sorts of rules for safety.
Grandpa got many cups of water thrown at him.
It also rained hard on us.
Now we are all warm and dry at home.
