We went down to Sandy Beach Park today because the sun was out and we felt like some fresh air.
This park doesn't really have a sandy beach. More like a rocky pebble beach along the Elbow River.
As we were setting up the self timed camera, Bobs positioned himself and a little girl with her 8 week old puppy entered the shot. Bobs had no idea. He is afraid of dogs and had no clue a little puppy was snuggling up to him.
Then we got our shot. Not really Christmas card worthy but we are all there!
This is the beach. It usually has a lot of rocks, but due to the flood, the bridge got washed away and so did all the rocks. It was very muddy.
Further upstream, we found some great skipping rocks. Do you see all that erosion?
