Snow at the Cabin

We went to the cabin for three nights. Two as a family only and the last night, our friends joined us.

The locals say this area is in a snow bowl. No kidding. We had 4 times as much snow here as we do at home.

We had to do a lot of shovelling. Each day we went to Sylvan Lake to the indoor pool for a swim. Hardly anyone else was there. Bobs favourite sport is likely swimming.

Saturday afternoon, KK joined us with some snow shoes and cross country skis.

We did a quick tour before sunset.

Some snowmobiles and ATVs made paths for us.

By bedtime, Sarah and her family arrived and baby Seth started to explore.

Sunday morning, I cooked up a big breakfast for everyone.

We put on all our gear again for a last trek. KK wanted to see if the lake was frozen yet. It had a layer of slush.

Bobs made a snowman craft. JJ made a bunch with his friends names on them. Bobs decided to make one with 110 X meaning there are 110 people out there that he doesn't like. And 111 checkmark meaning there are 111 people that he does like. Somewhere. Out there. Funny guy!
