We had 8 days at the cabin. Declan and his parents came with us for the first weekend.
Then JJ and KC arrived for 1 night over the weekend.
We had the week to ourselves. We went to the big watersides in Sylvan Lake and Bobs went down a half pipe with Daddy and a few other scary slides. We are having ice cream in Rimbey here.
We checked out some of the other beaches on Gull Lake.
This one is the provincial park called Aspen.
Midweek, we had our friends from Ontario out for the day.
It's fun being on vacation and having visitors.
We explored more beaches on the other side of the lake. We think our beach is the best.
Rimbey has a great spray park and outdoor pool.
We rescued a frog at Birch Bay beach. He was stuck in a sand hole.
We stocked the cabin up with some games from Dollarama.
Mormor and Morfar joined us on our last weekend. So did Elliott and Seffy and KC and JJ and their parents.
Then we ran into Seffy and Elliott's grandpa and great uncle and their family on the beach. Totally unplanned! They have a cabin nearby as well.
What a great vacation and with such little stress.
