T-ball has continued to go well. Mads needs to adjust to the game emotionally, but is slowly learning.
We went to the cabin for May long as you know, but what you didn't see was pictures from Daddy's phone where the 4 deer were sleeping on the lawn as we arrived.
They slowly got up and left.
I sent this photo to KK because she was in Hawaii and I told her to compare these surfers abilities to the ones she was looking at.
In the heavy rain, we made our way to Gleniffer Lake near the town of Dickson, which is an historic town settled by the Danes. Queen Margrethe was there in 1991 to help open the store in my birthday and my family and I were there as well.
We also discovered a quaint little Danish cafe and it was the highlight of my weekend.
Daddy got a fishing license and between my incorrectly putting his weight in kilos instead of pounds, and the cashier who converted his height incorrectly into cms, Daddy is a giant!
Coach Daddy is enjoying being out on the field.
Last friday I was out with KK at Ikea and Daddy took the kids to a carnival at the local school, in the rain.
Mads was talking all night about pirate ship bouncy houses and sugar donuts.
On Saturday we went to Double Zero Pizza
On Sunday we went to Callaway Park with our seasons passes in the hot sun.
After, we went to a backyard hot dog roast at the Marsden's house.
On Monday, Bobs brought home a puppet called Dimoitou He belongs to his teacher but she is sharing him with her students. The only caveat is that he only speaks French.
They have to write a short diary entry into the blue book about what they did with Dimoitou. Mads thinks Dimoitou is creepy.
Tomorrow is Ride Your Bike to School Day. We will 2 blocks from Bob's school and ride. Just for safety reasons and such! We support the cause in the best way that we can.
Mads still refuses to ride a bike, so we got him to try inline skating.
