We were invited to a backyard Brisket Smoke out in honour of uncle T's birthday and Christmas in July.
The kids got water guns and spent the entire late afternoon soaking each other in the heat.
One of the guys is an enthusiastic foodie and decided to use a smoker to make a brisket. It turned out really well. My favourite was the BBQ sauce.
We got lucky with the weather. The days before, we had strong winds of up to 60 km/hr and rain. Today, not a cloud in sight.
