We moved!

Bobs is taking a karate class at the local city rec centre. He's a bit picky about activities, but seems to like karate.

We saw Star Wars and Norm at the movie theatre.

In late January, we packed up everything and moved to a new house 2 kilometres closer to the inner city and 1 block away from the kids school.

We had help from Kristin, Sarah and Kris.

The first moving day was a professional development day at school, so I took 4 boys to the nearby hill while Daddy and Kristin unloaded heavy furniture.

Our real estate agent and his wife, a friend of mine, gave us such a nice welcoming package.

They did a great job selling our house in this difficult market as well. We will truly miss that house. It's where the boys were brought home and it has been the main location of this blog.

With the house empty, we had some fun in the open space.

The next day after we had moved in, the whole family got the flu and we were quite sick for over a week. On some of the days, we were able to walk the boys to school and they loved it.

We have nice neighbours who brought us a cake from the local infamous bakery.

Yesterday we went to 3 local skating rinks that were hosting winter festivals with my boss.

And this morning we had pancakes. We are mostly settled in. I look forward to putting up Mormor's weavings all throughout the house.
