For mother's day, we went to Nick's steakhouse for brunch with Mormor. It was a wonderful ambiance and we could order as many steaks as we could eat!
Grandma and Grandpa are here from Ottawa this week. Daddy and Grandpa and Bobs set off early for the cabin on saturday morning while Grandma and Mads and I hung back to watch Mads' soccer game.
We had the well line dug a bit deeper last fall, and there was a mess leftover from the winter to clean up.
We had a lovely day on sunday, playing a round of mini golf, some ice cream at Ripples, a walk along the boardwalk, admiring several Cedar waxwing birds.
We were so fortunate to have the warmest May long weekend weather in years.
Grandpa even set up the tent for Mads to sleep in at night. Grandma kept him company and they were chatting all evening, without ever falling asleep.
