For the long weekend, we went to the cabin with Jarett and Mike and their dog Buxton.
We spent Canada Day in Sylvan Lake.
And went on the Aqua float that has replaced the Wild Rapids water slides.
The water was very cold.
On daddy's birthday we went to the beach for most of the day.
Then our MLA joined us for dinner on his way up to Edmonton. We had lamb and beet salad. It was deliciously prepared by Mike.
Dessert was a southern coconut cake that I made, just like 2 years ago.

When we came home, Daddy was surprised by a nice plant from his parents.
