Since getting home from Ottawa, we have been to the cabin nearly every weekend.
We also had a day at Lake Bonavista in Calgary with some old friends and their kids.
The kids really enjoyed their summer camps. They did Mini University at UofC with their friends, however, their favourite camp of all time was the Minecraft camp.
Because we go to the cabin so often, we miss out on seeing the mountains. We reserved one weekend in late August to hike in the Kananaskis.
We also took a week off from summer camps. Mommy took the boys to Calaway Park for a day, Daddy took them to Heritage Park, and Mormor had the boys at Bowness Park.
The september long weekend was at the cabin. We have had such nice long weekend weather this year.
When it got windy, we flew a kite at the lake and it was great fun.
The sunday of the long weekend, we drove home early to attend James and Blanca's 40th birthday. It was a lot of fun. It had a similar set up to a wedding reception.
The kids danced all night long and didn't want to leave when it was time to go at 10:30pm.
The first week of school went well with Bobs in grade 4 and Mads in grade 2.
Mads has started Taekwondo at a local academy. Bobs will be starting coding classes next week.
