We spent each morning hanging out on the Sixth Step.
Bobs got spiderman pj's from Mormor for his birthday. The hat says on it that it isn't meant to be slept in.
We went to another birthday party for 3 year old Marseille. She has a little brother McLean, and both are born the same months as Mads and Bobs.
The birthday theme was Dora the Explorer. Mads and Bobs have no clue who she is.
As Marseille's dad is British, the food was a roast and yorkshire pudding. Mads didn't like the yorkshire pudding and I was pretty surprised. I said it was because he prefers the Danish side of his culture.
We also went to an early Stampede breakfast in a community in the deep south of Calgary called Chaparral. Joshua and his family live there and they invited us along with Cael and his parents.
The community is quite nice, once you get out there. It's on a human made lake and they had a fair set up after the pancake breakfast.
These boys got to bounce in bouncy castles two weekends in a row! I think their favourite was a big huge inflatable slide that they lined up for twice.
Mads hung out in the middle of the fair in a grassy area with his ball and he had fun entertaining himself.
All in all, a busy weekend. Thank goodness we have the work week to rest....
