We had a Dr. appointment and also a picnic with friends at Riley Park today. When Dr. Singh asked Bobs if he can ride a bike, he told her he has two bikes. It's true. He also skirted the question - he isn't very skilled at riding a bike yet.
Mads loves to copy everything Bobs does including hanging out on what they call the 6th step with Bobs' blankets.
We met up with Camryn and her mom ( a friend from elementary school ) and Elliott and Sarah for a picnic on what is so far, the hottest day of 2011.
We intended to picnic without heading to a wading pool. Then we decided last minute once we met up at Camryn's house, to head to Riley. I just happened to have Mads' swimsuit that I was going to give to Elliott, so Mads wore that, and Erik borrowed a swim diaper. They both loved the water.
This purple dress is my signature summer outfit this year. You'll see a lot of it!
We brought two balls for Mads because he can be entertained anywhere with them.
Mads has no fear compared to Bobs. He will run right into the deeper part of the water.
Even almost 5 month old Elliott had some water action. The weekend after this, we are heading to their cabin near Fernie for some more lake/beach time. We are so glad to have summer finally here!
