The boys are really into Superheroes right now. We went to the library and borrowed as many super hero books as we could find.
We had a nice visit with Mormor and Morfar at their park on saturday. The rain finally stopped.
On sunday we had Aiden's birthday party in Airdrie. Daddy had to set some ground rules. Our boys were zapping all the other kids and calling them bad guys as they pretended they were Superheroes. Not cool.
We played some treasure hunting games, and had a bike race. Bobs didn't want to participate in riding a bike, but Mads wanted two tries at two different type bikes.
There was a bean bag toss and an egg on a spoon race.
Then the kids all assembled for cake and singing happy birthday.
Aiden's mom is very creative. She made it based on two themes. The movie - Wreck It Ralph, and the iphone/ipad app game Sugar Rush.
Honestly, I had too much cake and indeed felt a sugar rush.
