Today is a day like I have dreamed of while I sat at my desk at work in the past year.
It was blue skies and cool fresh wading pool water. The kids got to try out their Spiderman rings that they got as a party gift at a birthday party in May.
At first, Mads was apprehensive about going in the cold water. It's a good thing he has a big brother to test the waters first.
It was also nice to take a break from Stampede events. That is where all the crowds are.
We had a nice little picnic and then headed over to the playground.
The boys tried fudgesicles for the first time, and Bobs had to ask three times what it was called. What a cute little Food Truck.
