Two Stampede Breakfasts

Stampede is here and we had two breakfasts to attend. There were actually 3, but we knew we would only make it to two.

The first one was at the church by our house. We got there nice and early. The kids enjoyed the bouncy castles.

Then we went to our friend, the Alberta Justice Minister's annual pancake breakfast and many of our friends were there as well.

Bobs got a balloon sword, and then it popped, so Gautam went with him and waited in line again for another one.

There are also municipal election political balloons but for some reason, the kids didn't think they were cool. Tim made it out to the breakfast as well.

Sadly,we learned that Carester lost some of her outdoor gear and her car in the flood as she lives in a condo downtown.

Uje and Sabu came later when the boys were already at the playground. Mayor Nenshi was also at the breakfast but it seems he was off to another event before we could shake his hand. We joke that Gautam sounds exactly like the mayor. He really does have the same voice.
