Canada Day Weekend

We spent an entire week at the cabin. Kris brought his trailer so we did some cleaning up and went to the dump with one of the three wheat couches.

The sun was in and out. We enjoyed another 100 mile diet salad from the farmer's market and some souvlaki.

We celebrated Daddy's birthday two days early. I had made a coconut cake that takes at least three days to set. It was one ugly cake, but nearly everyone enjoyed it.

We planned a pirate scavenger hunt for the kids on the rainy day.

The shed was a cave with hidden pirate treasure in it.

Another activity was to make tie dyed shirts. After the were rinsed and dried, we decided to hit the baseball field and play as a team.

Baby Seffy was really tired out on the way home.

The boys watched a lot of Sponge Bob Square Pants. KC slept in his tie dye shirt. His turned out the best.

We put on our Canada Day shirts and then realized a few minutes later that it was a warm beach day and we had to change back into swim suits.

We tried out our new toys.

The water is warm because it is so shallow.

We got a canoe from Canadian Tire in Sylvan Lake on one of the rainy days. It fit perfectly overtop of KK's thule on top of her VW.
